The Cult of Camp Ros
California, 1979 – A small-town summer camp harbors a dark secret: a cult of campers have been hunting down counselors and using them as sacrificial offerings in a demonic ritual to make summer break last forever. Will guests successfully escape the forest, or will they fall victim to the murderous children that lurk in every shadow?
“The Cult of Camp Ros” was a haunted house event designed, led, fabricated, and staffed entirely by the Ringling College of Art and Design student body. It was created to bring together students of different majors for a cross-disciplinary design experience. It allowed students to apply their learned skills to a real-world scenario and gain valuable industry experience. Although the event operated for only two days, it took over two years of collaborative effort to complete.

The Haunted Design Association
Founded by Ethan Moore and Myself, The Haunted Design Association is dedicated to crafting unforgettable and immersive haunted experiences for all of the Ringling community. Our club designs, fabricates, and hosts haunted experiences, ensuring a spine-chilling adventure for all. We plan and bring to life experiences such as the annual haunted house, holiday experiences, and deep dives into how immersive experiences are made.
The Cult of Camp Ros was our first official event, proving to the Ringling Campus of our club’s goals and serving as a proof of concept. This Haunted House has officially paved the way for larger campus involvement and continued haunted experiences.
